Agroforestry Systems are fundamental to support

Sustainable Production with higher yield and lower cost

Friends of Nature conducted trainings over Lebanon to enhance the capacity of farmers to comprehend the importance of Agroforestry to help them improve on their farming systems and to apply the techniques and best practices at their farmlands in order to sustain their productions.

Agroforestry if well applied will effectively help Lebanese farmers increase their productions while reducing their production costs. We toured the Lebanese territory from north till south aiming to spread as widely as possible these principles and practices. We started our path in Jezzine, Maaser el Chouf followed by Rachaya- Kawkaba Bou Arab , Hasbaya Shwaya , Baakline , Qobayat, Ghbale , Qartaba , Deir el Ahmar. We gladly assist the groups of farmers and support them to continue their endeavors successfully.
