Friends of Nature designed a hiking program to visit and walk the countryside. Many of the footpaths and routes that we walk are used shepherds and their herds, thus is the name Hiking Shepherds Routes.
The hiking program includes visits to all corners of Lebanon; it is structured to be at the place when the natural event is taking place in order to increase the level of enjoyment, to understand nature and natural cycles, to enhance connectedness with nature, and to support local communities and their livelihood.
A sample of the hiking events and day plans are included to promote the program; while the hiking events are announced and promoted on social media.
