Safeguarding the terrestrial natural heritage and biodiversity in Lebanon at the various levels from ecosystems to species and genetic diversity is envisaged in a program that directs actions on two objectives:
- Nature Conservation progressing protection of assets in multitude of forms of preservation from legislatively supported nature reserves to community protected areas.
- Nature Restoration is regarded to help improve natural landscape to reconstitute the natural systems.
